Our Inspirational Ambassadors are Conquering the World now They're Pain Free

Our inspirational ambassadors are conquering the world now they're pain free

Results in Wellness have some incredible ambassadors, from equestrian queens to monumental motorsport champions, each of them undoubtedly shows that with their determination, ambition and some technological pain relief, they can conquer the world, pain-free.

It’s because of this we’ll be following a few of them around the globe for 3 months as they take on a variety of ambitious and courageous challenges. So, who are our ambassadors?

Will Bayley is a paralympic table tennis champion and, as you may have heard, has swapped his table tennis racket for some dancing shows and is part of the 2019 Strictly Come Dancing line up.

Will was born with a congenital condition Arthrogryposis. Arthrogryposis is a term used to describe over 300 conditions that cause multiple curved joints in areas at the body at birth. Despite this, Will has gone on to win a gold medal in table tennis at the Rio Paralympics back in 2016.

Will uses the Painpod to help increase movement in his hand and is eager to continue using the device throughout Strictly. As some of you will already know, Strictly kicked off on Saturday night with Will being paired with the lovely Janette Manrara. Make sure you show him some love throughout the series! We’ll be keeping you updated on his progress.

Our next ambassador is the Marvellous Mimi herself. It may come as no surprise to you that she has set off for another adventure. She is cycling from Vanier Park, Vancouver to La Jolla, Mexico - a monumental challenge and a true testament to how you can achieve anything if you set your mind to it. Mimi uses the Painpod for recovery after training and to help to eliminate her pain from a fractured rib caused by a previous bike injury... a must for this trek. In fact, Mimi has even said she will be taking the Painpod along as her ‘luxury item’. We’ll keep you updated on Mimi’s progress throughout her trek! And from all of us, good luck Mimi!

Next, we have Britain’s fastest snowboarder, Jamie Barrow. Not satisfied with breaking the world record once, Jamie is determined to smash his OWN record as he didn’t quite manage to get up to the speed he wanted in his previous attempt. We are not sure when this attempt will take place but we will be following Jamie the whole way and we are sure it's going to be remarkable either way.

As always, Grand Prix dressage rider Izzy Chaplin is as busy as ever. A huge PainPod supporter, Izzy uses the device to build strength on left side when she’s not riding. As a full-time accountant as well as a horse whisperer, she also uses the Painpod for her sore neck after a full day at the computer… A feeling most of us will know all too well. As well as her numerous competitions on the horizon, Izzy is also hoping to be selected for the international in Bedfordshire at the beginning of October. We will be with Izzy every step.. Or gallop, of the way!

Our fifth PainPod champion hoping to conquer the world pain-free is none other than record-breaking athlete Josh Llewellyn-Jones. A world record breaker, extreme sports athlete, cystic fibrosis advocate, motivational speaker and fundraiser, Josh Llewellyn-Jones was born with cystic fibrosis and uses the Painpod for relief from his painful shoulder as well as part of his recovery process after training. Josh will be taking on yet another incredible challenge to raise money for CF Warriors on the 7th of October. The 5-day challenge will see Josh swimming 21 miles, followed by a 200-mile cycle ride from Dover to Twickenham finishing with a 160 mile run for good measure.

As if we didn’t have enough need for speed in our #RIWWorld campaign, our final ambassador is motor sports master Rob West, a well established mainstream racing driver and instructor from Devon. Rob will be coaching his teammates to compete in the RIW Citroen race in November at Brands Hatch. The RIW racing car will be in full force for this one! So keep your eyes peeled for any updates

We have one or two more ambassadors to announce so keep a look out to be the first to know who else is taking on huge challenges.

Results in Wellness are truly grateful to have such talented and brave superstars as ambassadors. We wish them every bit of luck as they show us how anyone can be #OnTopOfTheWorldPainFree with Painpod.
